    I'm a Teaching Assistant at the Computer Science and Engineering Department of the University of Mines and Technology. My latest research work focuses on using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN's) to classify minerals from hand specimen images. I'm also working on using CNN's to identify cocoa infections.

    In July, I graduated from the University of Mines and Technology as the valedictorian of the class of 2019. Studying Computer Science and Engineering was a life-changing experience for me. I entered the university mainly excited about the engineering part of my program. However, I grew to love the science more than the engineering, i.e., the part that involves designing and building computers.

    I began my journey into the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence and I've not looked back. At least not yet!
